NVIDIA has unveiled the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, a $249 compact AI development board aimed at boosting generative AI applications at the edge. This new kit provides 1.7 times the generative AI performance of its predecessor, reaching 67 INT8 TOPS. This significant increase in processing power makes it ideal for robotics and other edge AI tasks. The kit is designed to be cost-effective, targeting developers and hobbyists, offering a powerful platform for AI development at a lower price point than previous offerings.
The Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit is not only an upgrade to the older Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit, it is also the most affordable generative AI supercomputer that NVIDIA has released to date. The kit is comprised of an 8GB Jetson Orin Nano system-on-module (SoM) and a reference carrier board. With a memory bandwidth of 102GB/s and the ability to run NVIDIA AI software, such as NVIDIA Isaac for robotics, this board provides a platform for prototyping edge AI applications.
